  • Rob picked up his first pool cue at the age of ten, and from that moment, the game became more than just a pastime, it became a passion. Growing up, I found myself not only learning the fundamentals but also stepping into tournaments and experiencing the thrill of competition. Traveling across the country, he absorbed styles strategies, and lessons from players of all levels, each shaping his game in unique ways.
  • Over the years, he developed a deep love for one pocket, a discipline that mirrors the mental battle of chess. Each shot isn’t just about precision, but about foresight – thinking three, four, even five moves ahead. One pocket taught me patience strategy, and the beauty of playing the long game.
  • What excites Rob most about billiards is not just competing but sharing the game with others. I believe pool is for everyone and I want to help players at all levels see the strategy, the creativity, and the joy hidden in every rack. My mission is to grow the love of billiards, to show the bright side of competition, and to inspire others to sharpen their skills while enjoying the journey.

    A Lifetime in the Sport

Recognizing the need for structured teaching methods, he earned his BCA instructor certification in 2005 and expanded his coaching to both juniors and adults.

  • Professional Recognition & Leadership Roles
Roy is a PBIA Master Instructor, the 2020 PBIA Instructor of the Year, and a New England Billiard Hall of Fame inductee.
